These days it seems like everyone's concerned with the amount and the kind of fat in their diet. Atlantic Salmon contains less saturated fat than other foods. And that's ideal when you're watching what you eat.
Atlantic Salmon has:
- Only 15g of fat in a 100g portion. That's 23% of the daily recommended amount.
- One of the "good" kinds of fat — polyunsaturated.

According to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, women should get 45 to 75 grams of fat a day in their diet, while men should consume about 60 to 105 grams a day.
